Installation Requirements
1. Power: PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, max 24 W) or 12V DC. 2. Cable: Cat5e or Cat6, max 100 m. Shielded cable recommended near power lines. 3. Mounting: Pole, wall, or pendant. Camera weighs about 2.5 kg. 4. Clearance: Allow 360° pan and 90° tilt range.
App Setup
1. Download Hik-Connect app (iOS or Android). Create an account. 2. Power the camera via PoE+. Wait about 90 seconds for boot and self-test. 3. Scan the QR code or add by serial number. 4. Set presets, patrol routes, and auto-tracking rules.

How is this different from the DS-2DE4A425IWG-E?
The T5 revision is the updated hardware version with improved firmware. Core specs (25× zoom, 4 MP, 50 m IR) are the same. Check availability — the T5 replaces the older model.

Does it need PoE+?
Yes. The motor draws up to 24 W. Standard PoE (15 W) is not enough.

Can it track people automatically?
Yes. Smart tracking follows a person or vehicle and returns to the preset after the target leaves.

Does it have audio?
Audio input and output ports for external mic and speaker. No built-in mic.
