The Hikvision DS-2CD2H87G3-LIZSY is an 8 MP Smart Hybrid Light turret with ColorVu 3.0 and a motorised 2.8 to 12 mm zoom, built for demanding sites that need full-colour night images and a flexible field of view.

A large 1/1.8" sensor and a bright F1.2 lens capture sharp 8 MP (3840 x 2160) pictures, and the motorised varifocal lens lets you set the zoom and focus remotely from wide-angle to telephoto, so you frame a forecourt or reach down a long approach without touching the camera.

130 dB Wide Dynamic Range holds detail in high-contrast light, such as a bright entrance against a shaded wall.

ColorVu 3.0 with Smart Hybrid Light is what makes the night image work.

It blends a white supplement light and infrared, reaching up to 40 m, to keep full-colour images after dark rather than the black and white of an infrared-only camera, and you can choose between everyday colour, a discreet infrared mode or a smart mode that brings in white light when needed.

AcuSense deep learning runs on the camera, classifying people and vehicles and triggering perimeter rules such as line crossing and intrusion only on those targets, which cuts the false alarms that branches, rain and animals cause on a basic motion camera.

This model captures video rather than two-way audio: it has audio input and output connections for an external microphone but no built-in microphone or speaker, so add an external mic if you need sound, or choose the LIZS2UY variant for a built-in microphone.

It is a metal turret rated IP67 against dust and water, IK10 against impact and NEMA 4X against corrosion, so it suits coastal, industrial and public positions.

A microSD slot takes a card up to 512 GB and H.265+ keeps storage down.

One DS-2CD2H87G3-LIZSY turret camera with a mounting template, fixings and a quick guide. The PoE switch or NVR, network cable, microSD card and any wall or pendant bracket are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it on a ceiling, wall, eave or soffit aimed along the area to cover and aim the lens with the three-axis gimbal. Run one network cable back to a PoE (802.3af) switch or NVR, or use 12 VDC, set the motorised zoom, the Smart Hybrid Light mode and the AcuSense rules in the software, and record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR. Avoid reflective surfaces directly in front of the lens so the light does not bounce back at night.
