The Hikvision DS-2CD3686G3-LIZSU(Y)/SL is an 8 MP dual-illumination bullet with a motorised 2.7 to 13.5 mm zoom, built for large sites that need a flexible field of view, full-colour night images and active deterrence.

A large 1/1.8" sensor and an F1.2 lens capture sharp 8 MP (3840 x 2160) images, the motorised varifocal lens sets the zoom and focus remotely from wide-angle to telephoto, and 130 dB Wide Dynamic Range holds detail in high-contrast light.

Smart Hybrid Light gives three night modes: infrared up to 60 m for a discreet black-and-white image, constant white light for full colour, and a smart mode that runs on infrared and brings in white light to capture full colour when a person or vehicle is detected.

AcuSense deep learning classifies people and vehicles on the camera, runs perimeter rules that alarm only on those targets, and supports auto-tracking and people counting.

When a target is detected, the /SL white light flashes as a strobe and the speaker sounds an audible alarm, moving an intruder on in real time.

A built-in dual-microphone array and a built-in speaker give two-way audio, so an operator can listen and talk back.

It is a metal bullet rated IP67 against dust and water and IK10 against impact, with a NEMA 4X anti-corrosion rating on the -Y version for salt-affected and industrial sites.

An open HEOP platform lets integrators add custom analytics, a microSD slot takes a card up to 512 GB and H.265+ keeps storage down.

It runs on PoE (802.3at) or 12 VDC, so confirm your switch or NVR supplies 802.3at for the motorised lens, strobe, speaker and lights.

Record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR so the events and audio stay easy to review.

What's in the box

One DS-2CD3686G3-LIZSU(Y)/SL bullet camera with a mounting template, fixings and a quick guide. The PoE switch or NVR, network cable, microSD card and any junction box are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it on a wall, eave or pole aimed along the area to cover, and run one network cable back to a PoE (802.3at) switch or NVR, or use 12 VDC. Set the motorised zoom and focus, the Smart Hybrid Light mode, the AcuSense rules and the strobe and audio responses in the software, and record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR. A junction box tidies the cabling on a flat wall.
