Installation Requirements
1. Power: PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12V DC. 2. Cable: Cat5e or Cat6, max 100 m. 3. Mounting: Ceiling or wall. Use junction box for cable management. Camera weighs about 1 kg. 4. Face recognition works best at 2.5–4 m height with the subject facing the camera.

What is the difference between DeepinView and AcuSense?
DeepinView (7-series) has full face recognition, people counting, heatmaps, and queue detection. AcuSense (2-series) only classifies human vs vehicle and does face capture — it cannot match faces against a database.

How many faces can it store?
Depends on firmware. Typically up to 5,000–10,000 face entries in the local database.

Does it need a special NVR?
The NVR records video normally. For face recognition matching and analytics dashboards, use HikCentral Professional or iVMS-4200.

Is 4 MP enough for face recognition?
Yes, at the recommended distance (2–8 m). The motorised zoom helps optimise the face capture area.

Does it have a microphone?
The IZS model has audio and alarm I/O ports but no built-in mic. Connect an external mic if needed.
