01Overview

What the DS-2CD7126G0-IZS is

The Hikvision DS-2CD7126G0-IZS is a DeepinView dome - Hikvision's high-end analytics line - aimed at demanding sites such as transport hubs, banks and corporate entrances. Rather than the standard people-and-vehicle filtering, it runs deep-learning face detection and capture alongside human and vehicle target detection, so it can grade and capture faces in motion and feed precise data into security operations.

It records a smooth 1080p at up to 60 fps through a motorised 2.8-12 mm lens you adjust remotely, and 140 dB LightFighter WDR holds detail in extreme contrast such as a bright entrance against a dark interior. Colour images hold down to 0.002 Lux, and 30 m EXIR 2.0 infrared covers complete darkness. A microSD slot up to 256 GB keeps recording on board if the network drops, and alarm and RS-485 interfaces let it tie into wider systems.

Two honest notes so you specify it correctly. It is an indoor camera: it is IK10 vandal resistant but has no published weatherproof (IP) rating, so it is for inside spaces rather than exposed outdoor positions. And it provides audio through line-in and line-out terminals rather than a built-in microphone or speaker, so plan an external audio device if you need sound. Power it from PoE or 12 VDC.

30m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared lets the camera see in complete darkness up to around 30m — enough for a typical driveway, front yard or entrance. People and vehicles stay clear in black-and-white, brighter the closer they are.

False Alarm Reduction

Filtering helps separate real activity from harmless movement like rain, leaves or pets, so you get fewer pointless notifications and the alerts that matter stand out.

Human/Vehicle Detection

Smart detection focuses on people and vehicles and can ignore things like swaying branches, rain or small animals — helping cut down false alerts and making the right moments easier to find.

08Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-2CD7126G0-IZS

Q.01

What makes the DS-2CD7126G0-IZS a DeepinView camera?
DeepinView is Hikvision's high-end analytics line. This camera runs deep-learning face detection and capture along with human and vehicle target detection, so it does more than standard motion filtering - it can detect, grade and capture faces in motion for high-security sites.
Q.02

Is it an indoor or outdoor camera?
It is an indoor camera. It is IK10 vandal resistant against impact, but it has no published weatherproof (IP) rating, so it should be installed inside rather than in an exposed outdoor position.
Q.03

Does it have a built-in microphone or speaker?
No. It provides audio through line-in and line-out terminals rather than a built-in microphone or speaker. If you need to capture or play audio, connect an external microphone or speaker to those terminals.
Q.04

How far does the night vision reach and is it colour?
It has 30 m of EXIR 2.0 infrared. Colour images hold down to 0.002 Lux in low light, and in complete darkness it switches to infrared, so the darkest night images are black-and-white up to 30 m.
Q.05

Can I adjust the zoom remotely?
Yes. It has a motorised 2.8-12 mm varifocal lens, so you can set and fine-tune the zoom and focus from the software without touching the camera.
Q.06

Does it record on board if the network drops?
Yes. It has a microSD slot that takes a card up to 256 GB, so it keeps recording locally during a network interruption and you can retrieve that footage later.
Q.07

How is it powered?
It runs on standard PoE (802.3af) or a 12 VDC supply, so you can power and network it over one cable from a PoE NVR or switch, or use a local 12 VDC source.
Q.08

Which recorder should I use with it?
Connect it to a Hikvision NVR that supports its DeepinView analytics so the face, human and vehicle data is recorded and searchable. Match the channel count and storage to your site.
