What the DS-PDEB1-EG2-WB is
The Hikvision DS-PDEB1-EG2-WB is a wireless emergency button - often called a panic button - for the AX PRO alarm range. A single press sends an immediate alarm to the system to call for medical or security help, so it is well suited to a bedside, under an office desk, in a bathroom, or by an entry where someone may need to raise the alarm quickly.
It communicates with the AX PRO control panel using Hikvision's Tri-X two-way wireless on 433 MHz, secured with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping to resist jamming, and reaches up to 800 metres in free space. Two-way signalling means the panel confirms each alarm and the device reports its own status, including signal strength and environment temperature. Front and rear tamper switches alert the system if the unit is opened or removed, and a blue LED confirms an alarm. It is fully configurable from the app, and enrols quickly by power-up, remote ID or QR code.
Power is a single CR2450 coin battery rated for about three years in normal use, and it mounts on a wall or surface indoors. It measures 63.8 x 63.8 x 17.9 mm and weighs 45.5 g, and a green keymat is available for medical applications. It is an indoor device, not weatherproof.
