Hikvision DS-KAD706Y-P Two-Wire Distribution Unit
The Hikvision DS-KAD706Y-P is a two-wire IP distribution unit for a compatible Y-series video intercom system. It provides six two-wire device interfaces with power supply, two cascade interfaces and an RJ45 connection. The cascade interfaces support DS-KAD704Y, DS-KAD706Y and DS-KAD706Y-S series units. It uses a 24 VDC input and DIN-rail mounting. The channel specifications differ: CH1 to CH5 are below 6 W each, while CH6 is below 16 W. Hikvision DS-KD-DIS 3.5-inch Intercom Display Module
The Hikvision DS-KD-DIS is a display module for a compatible modular video door station. Its 3.5-inch TFT screen has 320 × 480 resolution and uses four physical buttons for interaction. Hikvision DS-KD-ACW1 Single-Module Surface Mount Housing
The Hikvision DS-KD-ACW1 is an aluminium surface-mount housing for a single module in a compatible modular video intercom installation. It provides the mounting frame and front panel, together with the associated installation accessories. The installation frame measures 117 mm by 107 mm by 32.7 mm, and the front cover is 4 mm deep. Choose it when a one-module layout is sufficient and the door station will sit on the wall surface. Find the accessory your intercom needs
Mounting housings, frames and rain shields
Choose surface or flush mounting first, then match the housing to the door-station family and module count. The Hikvision DS-KD-ACW1 single-module housing is one example of a model-specific mount. A two- or three-module installation requires the corresponding supported arrangement. Rain shields and protective covers also need to match the device and installation format.
Modular controls and displays
Modular intercom keypads, card readers, nametag buttons, display modules and blank modules form part of a supported modular station. They do not operate as complete door stations by themselves. Verify compatibility with the main module, connecting hardware, housing and firmware before expanding a system.
Distributors and power supplies
Two-wire distributors and switches have specific roles in their system family. Verify the model, topology, permitted device count and power arrangement in the installation documentation. Intercom power supplies also need the correct voltage, output capacity and supported application; similar connector shapes are not proof of compatibility.
Indoor station table brackets
A table bracket lets a supported indoor station sit on a desk or counter. Match it to the exact monitor model. Do not assume that two monitors with the same screen size use the same fixing points.

Frequently asked questions
Are intercom accessories universal?
No. Match the manufacturer, exact station or monitor model, system generation and mounting format. Compatibility must be established for the particular accessory and device.
Does a rain shield make any intercom suitable for outdoor use?
No. The device must already meet the environmental and installation requirements for its location. A compatible rain shield is an accessory, not a replacement for the specified protection rating or installation method.
Can I use a two-wire distributor as a standard PoE network switch?
Do not assume so. A two-wire distributor belongs to a specific intercom system and wiring design. Use equipment expressly supported by the station, monitor and manufacturer installation instructions.
Do keypad and card-reader modules work on their own?
Modular intercom accessories generally require a compatible main station module and supported connections. They are not complete calling stations or standalone access systems unless the product documentation explicitly says otherwise.
