01Overview
What the KIT-PHA64 is
The Hikvision KIT-PHA64 is a ready-to-install AX Hybrid Pro alarm kit that gives you the core of a professional hardwired intrusion system in one box. At its centre is the DS-PHA64-LP/NP AX Hybrid Pro control panel, with eight onboard zones that expand to 64 wired or wireless zones, support for 45 users and eight areas, so the kit covers a typical home now and grows with the property later.
The kit is wired. It includes a DS-PK1-LRT-HWB LCD keypad with a built-in card reader for arming and disarming, an outdoor DS-PS1-B siren strobe (IP54, 105 dB) to raise the alarm, and three DS-PDP18-EG2 indoor PIR detectors that are pet immune to cut false alarms and wire back to the panel with end-of-line resistors. A power supply and a 12 V 7 Ah backup battery are included so the system keeps working through a mains outage. Because it is the AX Hybrid Pro platform, you can later add wireless detectors and peripherals through a Tri-X wireless receiver if running cable is difficult.
You manage everything from the free Hik-Connect app — arm and disarm, see zone status and receive push notifications — with no forced monthly fee for self-monitoring; an alarm receiving centre can be added later if you want professional monitoring. A couple of honest notes: the DS-PS1-B siren is IP54 (splash resistant, mount it under cover) and has no internal battery, drawing backup from the panel; and the PDP18 detectors are wired, not wireless. It is genuine Australian Hikvision stock with local warranty and support, and professional installation is recommended.

04Why choose this
Built for the way you actually use the KIT-PHA64
Professional hybrid platform
The AX Hybrid Pro panel is a proper hardwired system that also takes wireless devices later, so it suits both new wiring and retrofits.
No forced monthly fee
Self-monitor from the free Hik-Connect app with push alerts, and add a monitoring centre only if you want one.
Room to grow
Eight onboard zones expand to 64, with 45 users and eight areas, so the system scales from a home to a larger property.
05Where it fits
Right at home in these scenarios
Family homes
Protect entries and living areas with three pet-immune PIRs, an outdoor siren and app control, without nuisance alarms from the family pet.
Small business and offices
Secure a shop, office or workshop with a hardwired alarm, area arming and a keypad with card reader at the door.
New builds and renovations
Wire a proper hardwired alarm during construction, with headroom to add zones and wireless devices later.
Retrofits
Start hardwired and add wireless detectors through a Tri-X receiver where running new cable is impractical.

08Questions
Frequently asked about the KIT-PHA64
Q.01
What is included in the KIT-PHA64?
The kit includes one DS-PHA64-LP/NP AX Hybrid Pro control panel, one DS-PK1-LRT-HWB wired LCD keypad with card reader, one DS-PS1-B outdoor siren strobe, three DS-PDP18-EG2 wired pet-immune PIR detectors, a power supply and a 12 V 7 Ah backup battery — the core of a working hardwired alarm system.
Q.02
Is this a wired or wireless alarm system?
The kit is wired. The PDP18 detectors, keypad and siren connect by cable to the AX Hybrid Pro panel. Because it is the Hybrid Pro platform you can add wireless detectors and peripherals later through a Tri-X wireless receiver, which is useful where running cable to a new zone is difficult.
Q.03
Is there a monthly fee to use it?
No. You arm, disarm and receive push notifications through the free Hik-Connect app for self-monitoring, with no forced subscription. If you want a security company to respond, the panel can also report to an alarm receiving centre, which is a separate service you arrange.
Q.04
Will the pet-immune detectors ignore my dog?
The DS-PDP18-EG2 detectors are pet immune, so a typical dog or cat moving at floor level should not trigger them when they are mounted at the recommended height. Keep furniture a pet can climb out of the detection path, since a pet up high and close to the sensor can still cause a trigger.
Q.05
How many zones and areas does it support?
The DS-PHA64-LP/NP panel has eight onboard zones and expands to 64 wired or wireless zones, supports up to 45 users and divides into eight areas, so you can protect and arm parts of the property independently as the system grows.
Q.06
Can I expand the kit later?
Yes. You can add more wired detectors directly to the panel's zones, add wireless detectors through a Tri-X receiver, and add extra keypads, sirens, reed switches or a PIR camera as your needs grow, up to the panel's 64-zone capacity.
Q.07
Is the siren weatherproof for outdoors?
The DS-PS1-B is an outdoor siren strobe rated IP54, which is splash resistant rather than fully weatherproof, so mount it under an eave or other cover. It has no internal battery and draws backup power from the panel during a mains outage.
Q.08
Does it keep working in a power cut?
Yes. The included 12 V 7 Ah backup battery keeps the panel, detectors and reporting running through a mains outage for a period that depends on the system load, so the alarm stays armed and can still alert you.
