Installation requirements

Surface-mount the switch on the fixed frame and the magnet on the moving door, aligned within the 30 mm gap. Run the armoured cable back to a normally-closed detection zone on your alarm panel, then walk-test by opening the door to confirm it triggers. Keep the switch and magnet clear of steel where possible.
