The Hikvision DS-PDCL12-EG2-WB is a wireless 360-degree PIR detector that mounts on the ceiling of a room for full overhead coverage. Its circular lens watches the whole space out to 12 metres across 172 detection zones, so a single sensor protects a room without the blind spots of a corner-mounted PIR.

It joins the AX PRO system over Tri-X two-way wireless on 433MHz, with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping to resist jamming and interference, and reaches up to 1km in open air. Digital signal processing, sealed optics and a 6500lux white-light filter help keep detection stable.

It is battery powered (one CR123A) with up to five years of standby life, mounts at 2.4m to 4m, and is for indoor use. Front and rear tamper protection alerts the hub if the unit is opened or removed, and everything is set up in the Hik-Connect app. This is a ceiling detector, so it does not offer pet immunity; for a pet-friendly wall sensor choose a wall-mounted PIR instead.
