The Hikvision DS-PDPG12P-EG2-WB is a wireless dual-function detector that puts two protections in one unit: a 12-metre PIR motion sensor over 85.9 degrees, and an 8-metre acoustic glass-break sensor. That covers both an intruder moving through a room and the sound of a window being smashed at the perimeter.
The acoustic sensor recognises breaking float, plate, tempered, wired, laminated and double-glazed glass, while intelligent PIR processing gives up to 30kg pet immunity so cats and dogs do not trigger the alarm. It joins the AX PRO system over Tri-X two-way wireless on 433MHz with AES-128 encryption, reaching up to 1km in open air.
It is battery powered with two CR123A cells for up to four years of standby, mounts on a wall at 1.8m to 2.4m for indoor use, and has front and rear tamper protection. An optional wall or ceiling bracket adjusts the aim, and everything is configured in the Hik-Connect app.
