The Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-SD11 is a purpose-made junction box for 4-inch mini PTZ cameras. Instead of leaving cable joins exposed at the camera base, the SD11 gives you an enclosed, weatherproof space to terminate the network and power cabling, then mounts the PTZ cleanly on top.

It is machined from aluminium alloy with a sprayed Hikvision White finish to match the camera, and it carries a maximum load of 5 kg, which comfortably covers Hikvision's 4-inch DS-2DE4A series mini PTZ domes. Cable can enter from the side or the bottom, so it works whether you are running surface conduit along a wall or feeding cable up through a soffit. Fit it to a flat surface, and make sure the structure can support at least three times the combined weight of the camera and box.

One honest note on weatherproofing: the SD11 is designed to keep water out, but for outdoor installs you must fit the supplied waterproof rubber seal at the cable entry. It is genuine Hikvision hardware supplied with local warranty and support.

Mount it to a flat surface that can support at least three times the combined weight of the camera and box. Bring cable in through the side or bottom entry, fit the waterproof seal for outdoor use, terminate inside the box, then mount the 4-inch mini PTZ on top.
