§ 01Overview

What the Bosch3000-3QPIR-1 is

The Bosch Solution 3000 kit with an Icon keypad and three Quad PIRs is a wired alarm chosen for its false-alarm immunity, suited to Australian homes and small businesses with busy or challenging rooms. The Quad PIRs use two PIR sensors that must both detect motion before the alarm triggers.

It includes the Solution 3000 panel, a blue-backlit Icon keypad (IUI-SOL-ICON), three Blue Line Gen2 Quad PIR detectors (BPQ2-W12, 12m), an 18V plug-pack with a 12V 7Ah battery, an internal 120dB piezo siren and an external siren with strobe. The Solution 3000 panel supports up to 16 fully programmable zones and, unlike the wired-only Solution 2000, takes both wired and wireless detectors through the Bosch B810 RADION receiver.

The three included Quad PIRs are the standard version (not pet-immune), so add pet-friendly detectors for homes with animals. This kit does not include the IP module; add the B426-M to use the free Bosch RSC+ app for arming and push notifications.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the Bosch3000-3QPIR-1

Stronger false-alarm immunity

Quad PIRs use two sensors that must both detect motion, which helps in rooms where standard PIRs nuisance-trigger.

Three detectors included

Three Blue Line Gen2 Quad PIRs are in the box, ready to cover the main areas after install.

Upgrade to app when ready

Add the B426-M IP module any time for free arm, disarm and push notifications through the Bosch RSC+ app.

Backed locally

Authorised Bosch dealer supply with a 3-year warranty and Australia-wide support.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Busy or draughty rooms

Quad PIRs help where movement, heating, air-conditioning or sunlight cause standard PIRs to false-trigger.

Family homes

Three Quad PIRs cover key living areas; add more detectors and reed switches for full coverage.

Small businesses

Multiple areas and individual user codes give staff their own PINs and a clear event log.
