01Overview

What the Bosch3000-3PIR-5 is

The Bosch Solution 3000 kit with the 5-inch TouchOne codepad and three PIRs is a touchscreen wired alarm for Australian homes, apartments and small retail or office sites. It pairs the mid-range Solution 3000 panel with a 5-inch colour touchscreen and three motion detectors, so it can protect the main living areas straight after a professional install.

It includes the Solution 3000 panel, a 5-inch TouchOne touchscreen codepad (IUI-SOL-TS5), three Blue Line Gen2 PIR detectors (BPR2-W12, 12m), an 18V plug-pack with a 12V 7Ah battery, an internal 120dB piezo siren and an external siren with strobe. The Solution 3000 panel supports up to 16 fully programmable zones and, unlike the wired-only Solution 2000, takes both wired and wireless detectors through the Bosch B810 RADION receiver.

The three included PIRs are the standard version (not pet-immune), so add pet-friendly detectors for homes with animals. This kit does not include the IP module; add the B426-M to use the free Bosch RSC+ app for arming and push notifications.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Family homes

Three PIRs plus the panel and sirens cover the core of a typical house; add detectors for more rooms and doors.

The 5-inch TouchOne suits households that prefer a compact touchscreen over an icon keypad.

Small retail and offices

Multiple areas and user codes let you arm areas separately and give staff their own codes.

Installation & setup

  1. In the box

Solution 3000 panel, 5-inch TouchOne codepad (IUI-SOL-TS5), 3x BPR2-W12 PIR detectors, 18V transformer, 12V 7Ah battery, internal + external sirens with strobe, metal enclosure with tamper, resistors and manual. No IP module is included.

  2. Professional install

In Australia these systems are installed by a licensed security installer, who mounts and programs the panel, wires the keypad, sirens and zones with the supplied 3k3 and 6k8 end-of-line resistors, and sets up user codes. Note that a Solution 3000 supports one touchscreen keypad per system; a second touchscreen needs its own power supply.

  3. Add app control

Fit the B426-M IP module to arm, disarm and get push notifications through the free Bosch RSC+ app.

  4. Monitoring

Self-monitoring through the free Bosch RSC+ app sends arm, disarm and alarm push notifications to your phone with no subscription. Back-to-base monitoring is optional and arranged through a licensed monitoring provider.
