Description
The HiLook HA-ALARM-PIR1-AUS is a wired indoor PIR motion detector for intruder alarm systems — the sensor that spots someone moving through a room and tells the panel to alarm. It covers up to 18 metres across an 85.9° field of view, ignores pets up to 10 kg to cut false alarms, and uses selectable EOL resistors so it works with the HiLook AX Hybrid Pro panel and most other wired alarm panels. It is a wired detector, not a wireless one, and needs a control panel to operate.

Mounted in a corner or against a wall, its passive infrared sensor watches for the body heat of someone moving through the space and signals the alarm panel to act. It covers up to 18 metres across an 85.9° field of view, which suits everything from a hallway to a large living room.

What's in the box

Installation requirements
Mount it in a room corner at 1.8 to 2.4 metres facing across the space, run the four-wire cable back to a detector zone on your panel, and set the EOL resistor value to match. Walk-test the coverage and confirm the zone alarms before relying on it. Wired alarm work is best carried out by a licensed installer.
