Description
The HiLook HA-ALARM-SIREN1 is a wired external sounder for intruder alarm systems — the loud, visible part that turns a triggered alarm into a deterrent. What the HA-ALARM-SIREN1 is
The HiLook HA-ALARM-SIREN1 is the external sounder for a wired intruder alarm — the loud, flashing box on the wall that makes a break-in obvious and tells an intruder the system has tripped. When the alarm panel triggers it, the sounder produces up to 105 dB of sound (measured at 30 cm) and an independent LED flash, so an activation is both heard and seen, day or night.
It is built to live outside. The PC+ABS housing is IP54 rated against dust and splashing water, which suits indoor mounting or a sheltered external wall — under an eave rather than in driving rain. The LED flash can be configured to operate separately from the sounder, so you can run a visual-only indication if you prefer. It draws power from the panel's siren output on 8–16 VDC (typically 12 V), with a low quiescent draw, and the compact 140 × 134 × 33 mm shell mounts neatly on a wall.
One important note: this is a sounder, not an alarm system in itself. It needs a wired control panel to drive it — any panel with a 12 volt switched siren output, including the HiLook HA-ALARM-KIT1 AX Hybrid Pro panel. Mount the sounder high on a sheltered wall, run the siren cable back to your panel's 12V siren output, and wire the flash and sound to the panel program you want.
