What the iDS-7716NXI-M4/16P/X is
The Hikvision iDS-7716NXI-M4/16P/X is a 16-channel DeepinMind network video recorder with 16 PoE ports built in and two deep-learning engines, made for sites that need accurate, on-recorder intelligence such as banks, malls, schools and critical infrastructure.
Unlike a basic recorder, it runs the AI itself: facial recognition across up to 16 libraries (100,000 list images and millions of face captures), perimeter protection, video structuralization and AcuSearch for fast investigation. Two engines split the workload so face and image search run in parallel with natural-language style retrieval. It records up to 32MP and takes 256 Mbps of incoming bandwidth.
Sixteen 802.3 af/at PoE ports (up to 200W) power and connect cameras over one cable each, HDMI1 outputs up to 8K (with the second HDMI limited to 1080p when HDMI1 is at 8K), and four SATA bays accept drives up to 16TB for 64TB total. It is supplied without a hard drive so you choose the capacity.

iDS-7716NXI-M4/16P/X recorder, power cable, mouse and network cable. Hard drive is not included.
Connecting cameras
Plug up to 16 cameras into the built-in PoE ports for power and data; the NVR can add them automatically over the network.
