The Hikvision DS-PDSK-P is a wired shock (vibration) detector for the AX Hybrid Pro alarm range. While a door contact tells you an opening has been opened, a shock detector reacts earlier - it senses the physical vibration of an attack on the structure itself, so attempts to drill, lever, cut or hammer through a door, window, wall or safe are caught while the intruder is still trying to get in.

It mounts directly onto the surface you want to protect and uses a potentiometer to set sensitivity to suit that material and location. A gross-attack override raises the alarm immediately on a single heavy blow regardless of the count, while an advanced digital background-noise filter and digital processing reject the everyday knocks and traffic vibration that would otherwise cause false alarms. A front tamper switch and a blue LED indicator support reliable, supervised operation.

This is a wired, indoor device. It provides a normally closed (NC) alarm output and runs on 9 to 16 VDC (typically 12 VDC) at just 30mA, connecting to a wired zone on a Hikvision AX Hybrid Pro panel such as the DS-PHA64-LP/NP or another compatible 12 VDC alarm panel. At 30 x 108 x 22mm and 37.5g it is compact and unobtrusive on a frame or wall.
