The Hikvision DS-PDC10AM-VG3 is a wired PIR anti-mask curtain detector for the AX Hybrid Pro alarm range. Unlike a wide-angle room PIR, a curtain detector projects a thin, vertical fan of infrared detection - so it can guard the plane of a window or doorway and trigger the moment that line is crossed, while normal movement deeper inside the room is ignored.

Its narrow 5-degree beam reaches 10m when wall-mounted or 6m when ceiling-mounted, across 32 detection zones, and an included L-shaped adapter makes it easy to set on a frame or in a corner. Active IR anti-masking (the AM in the name) watches for any attempt to spray, cover or obstruct the lens and reports it, while digital temperature compensation, sealed optics, creep-zone protection and a 6500lux white-light filter keep detection stable and cut false alarms. Directional detection lets the system distinguish the way a target is moving.

This is a wired device: it gives a normally closed (NC) alarm output with selectable end-of-line (EOL) resistors for both alarm and tamper wiring, plus front and rear tamper switches. It runs on 9 to 16 VDC (typically 12 VDC) and connects to a wired zone on a Hikvision AX Hybrid Pro panel such as the DS-PHA64-LP/NP, or to another compatible 12 VDC alarm panel.
