The Hikvision DS-PDC10AM-EG2-WB is an outdoor curtain detector for AX PRO alarm systems, designed to throw a thin vertical curtain of detection along an external wall, window line, balcony or long corridor. Catching an intruder at the perimeter, before they reach a door or window, gives earlier warning than an internal detector alone.
It uses passive infrared sensing over a narrow 5° beam reaching 10m on wall mount (5m on ceiling), across 32 zones with directional detection. Active IR anti-masking raises an alert if the lens is covered, sprayed or obstructed, and the IP65 housing handles outdoor conditions from -25 to 60°C. A slim body suits window-frame mounting, and an L-shaped adapter bracket is included for aiming.
It links to the hub over Tri-X two-way wireless on 433MHz, rated up to 1km in open space, with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping, and runs on two CR123A batteries for up to five years (low temperatures shorten this). Pet immunity is up to 12kg on wall mount; note there is no pet immunity when ceiling mounted. This is the PIR-only (AM) model; a dual-tech version, the DS-PDC10DM-EG2-WB, adds a microwave sensor for even stronger false-alarm rejection.

Power it up and enrol it to the AX PRO hub by power-up, remote ID or QR code in the Hik-Connect app.
