The Hikvision DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/VPRO is an 8-channel AI network video recorder with PoE built in and Hikvision's V-PRO analytics, supplied with a 4TB drive so it is ready to record out of the box.
Two dedicated AI engines split the work: one handles face pictures and AcuSearch image search, the other runs AcuSeek natural-language search, so you can find a person or vehicle by description across recorded footage.
It supports face recognition (16 libraries, 50,000 images), ANPR and people counting with compatible cameras, and records up to 32MP.
Note that the recorder's AI modelling of up to 300,000 targets a day relies on Hikvision AcuSense cameras with AcuSearch enabled.
Eight 802.3 af/at PoE ports power and connect cameras over one cable each, HDMI outputs 4K, and two SATA bays accept drives up to 20TB.
A 4TB surveillance drive is included, with a second bay free for more storage.
