It runs on a single CR2035 battery for up to three years of standby use and carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashes in everyday use. It is an arming/alert device rather than a detector, so it works as part of an AX PRO system alongside a hub and sirens. Please note it has no tamper protection and no two-way voice - it is a one-press alert button.
