01Overview
What the DS-PDEBP1-EG2-WB is
The Hikvision DS-PDEBP1-EG2-WB is a portable wireless panic button for AX PRO alarm systems, giving vulnerable people and lone staff a simple way to call for help. A single press sends an emergency alert to the hub, which notifies carers or a monitoring contact through the Hik-Connect app and can trigger the system's sirens so anyone nearby is alerted too.
At just 38 x 12mm and 13.5g it is easy to carry, clip to a lanyard or wear with the optional DS-PDB-IN-Wristband. It connects over Tri-X two-way wireless rated up to 800m in open space, with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping for a reliable, secure link, and accidental-press protection helps avoid false alerts. A red and green LED shows status, and the device confirms each alarm with the hub.
It runs on a single CR2035 battery for up to three years of standby use and carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashes in everyday use. It is an arming/alert device rather than a detector, so it works as part of an AX PRO system alongside a hub and sirens. Please note it has no tamper protection and no two-way voice - it is a one-press alert button.

08Questions
Frequently asked about the DS-PDEBP1-EG2-WB
Q.01
What happens when the button is pressed?
It sends an emergency signal to the AX PRO hub, which alerts carers or a monitoring contact through the Hik-Connect app and can sound the system's sirens, so help can be summoned quickly.
Q.02
How far does it work from the hub?
Up to 800m in open space over Tri-X two-way wireless. Walls and obstructions reduce that, so test the range where it will actually be used.
Q.03
Can it be worn?
Yes, it is small and light and can be carried, clipped to a lanyard, or worn with the optional DS-PDB-IN-Wristband for instant access.
Q.04
Will it go off by accident in a pocket?
It has accidental-press protection to reduce false alerts, so it is suited to being carried or worn day to day.
Q.05
What is the IP rating?
It is rated IP54, meaning it resists dust and water splashes for everyday indoor and sheltered use. It is not designed for submersion or heavy rain exposure.
Q.06
What battery does it use and how long does it last?
A single CR2035 lithium battery, giving up to three years of standby life, with a low-battery warning sent to the hub.
Q.07
Does it work on its own?
No, it is part of an AX PRO system. It needs a Hikvision AX PRO hub to receive the alert, and a siren or app notification to act on it.
Q.08
Does it have a tamper switch or two-way voice?
No, it is a simple one-press alert button with no tamper switch and no voice - for talk-back, use a keypad or the app on the system.
