Hanwha PND-A7082RV 4MP AI Indoor Vandal Dome, 60m WiseIR, Wisenet 9

SKU: PND-A7082RV
Description

- Wisenet 9 Dual NPU Architecture: one AI processor handles image enhancement, a second runs analytics — the two never compete for compute, so extremeWDR and object classification both stay smooth at 60fps.
- 4MP AI Object Classification: separates Person, Face, Vehicle and License plate on-camera, with attribute extraction (BestShot) that keeps only the sharpest capture per event.
- 60m WiseIR + extremeWDR: usable identification at range in complete darkness, combined with backlit-scene handling from the 120dB dynamic range for entrances with mixed daylight and shadow.
- Government-Grade Cybersecurity: FIPS 140-3 Level 3, CC EAL6+ and ETSI EN 303 645 certified — hard requirements for defence, finance and regulated enterprise deployments.

§ 01Overview

What the PND-A7082RV is

The Hanwha PND-A7082RV is a 4MP AI indoor vandal dome camera built on the Wisenet 9 SoC with a dual NPU architecture — one processor drives AI image enhancement (extremeWDR, WiseNR II), a second runs the analytics engine, so neither task starves the other under heavy scene complexity.

The 4.6mm to 9.35mm motorized varifocal lens covers 105° to 47° horizontal, with WiseIR reaching 60m for full-dark identification at range.

On-board AI classifies people, faces, vehicles and license plates, with attribute extraction and BestShot event capture; business intelligence adds people counting, queue management, heatmap, vehicle counting and crowd counting — no external analytics server.

Cybersecurity certifications include FIPS 140-3 Level 3, Common Criteria EAL6+ and ETSI EN 303 645 — a hard requirement in defence, financial and regulated enterprise environments.

IK10 vandal resistance and IP52 indoor ingress protection, dual micro SD slots, PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4).

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the PND-A7082RV

Wisenet 9 Dual NPU Doesn't Compromise Under Load

On a busy scene with heavy AI enhancement and multiple analytics rules running, single-processor cameras start dropping frames or delaying detection. The dual NPU architecture keeps both the image path and the analytics path at full performance because they don't share silicon.

Object-Class-Aware Rule Firing

On-camera classification of Person, Face, Vehicle and License plate means virtual line and area rules fire only on the class you specify. That eliminates the wildlife and shadow false alarms that plague pure-motion detection in indoor common areas.

Government-Grade Cybersecurity Included

FIPS 140-3 Level 3, CC EAL6+ and ETSI EN 303 645 are hard procurement gates in defence, finance and regulated enterprise. Most competing indoor domes at this price point don't clear these bars, so getting them without a premium is meaningful for compliant deployments.

Dual SD Slot Redundancy

The two-slot design supports continuous plus event recording split across cards, or one active plus one hot spare — useful for sites where network drops are frequent and edge recording is the fallback rather than the primary.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Retail Trading Floors

On-camera people counting, queue management and heatmap turn the camera itself into a footfall analytics platform. Face and vehicle classification supports incident review with structured evidence rather than raw motion.

Bank Branches & Financial Front Offices

FIPS 140-3 Level 3 and CC EAL6+ certifications typically clear cybersecurity procurement gates for regulated finance; the vandal-resistant IK10 dome addresses in-branch tampering concerns.

Corporate Reception & Lobby

BestShot captures a sharpened frame per detected person or vehicle, useful for evidence workflows without archiving entire hours of low-value footage.

Warehouse Aisle & Loading Bay Vestibules

60m WiseIR gives usable identification at range in blackout conditions inside unlit warehouses at night; the 105° wide setting covers a full aisle from a mid-mount position.

Government & Defence Facilities

Cybersecurity certification stack (FIPS 140-3 Level 3, CC EAL6+, ETSI EN 303 645) meets baseline requirements for critical infrastructure and government tenant fitouts across Australia.

What's in the Box

1. Hanwha PND-A7082RV Camera x 1 2. Mounting Template & Fixings x 1 set 3. Quick Start Guide x 1

02

Installation Requirements

1. Power: PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4) or 12VDC — PoE (802.3af) is insufficient because of the 60m WiseIR draw. Verify switch/midspan supports 802.3at. 2. Storage: two micro SD/SDHC/SDXC slots (cards sold separately) for edge recording; can be configured continuous + event. 3. Mounting: IK10 vandal-resistant indoor dome — verify substrate for impact rating. IP52 covers indoor dust/drip only. 4. Network: RJ-45, ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M for third-party VMS or Wisenet WAVE / SSM native integration.

03

App & Setup

1. Discover with Wisenet Toolbox Plus or Device Manager. 2. Set admin password on first login (brute-force prevention enforced), configure H.265 with WiseStream III. 3. Enable Wisenet 9 AI features: object classification, virtual line/area rules per object class, BestShot event capture. 4. Configure business intelligence rules: people counting zones, heatmap regions, queue lines.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the PND-A7082RV

Q.01

What does the Wisenet 9 Dual NPU architecture do that matters in practice?

The Wisenet 9 SoC contains two separate AI processors: one dedicated to image enhancement (extremeWDR, WiseNR II noise reduction, gain control) and one dedicated to analytics (object detection, classification, business intelligence). Single-processor cameras have to time-slice between these tasks, so a busy scene with heavy noise reduction can slow analytics response. The dual NPU eliminates that trade-off.
Q.02

How does the AI classification differ from basic motion detection?

Motion detection alerts on any pixel change — a bird, a shadow, a curtain moving. The AI engine on this camera classifies each detected object as a Person, Face, Vehicle or License plate before firing a rule. Virtual line and area rules can be scoped to one class, so nuisance alerts stop hitting operator screens.
Q.03

What cybersecurity certifications does the camera hold?

FIPS 140-3 Level 3 (US federal cryptographic module standard), Common Criteria EAL6+ (rigorous security evaluation), and ETSI EN 303 645 (European consumer IoT baseline). These clear most procurement gates in defence, finance and regulated enterprise environments where uncertified cameras are ineligible.
Q.04

How far does the WiseIR reach?

WiseIR reaches up to 60m in complete darkness. Combined with the 105° wide field of view at the 4.6mm setting, this covers a full-width warehouse aisle or long corridor with full-dark identification at range.
Q.05

What business intelligence functions are on the camera?

People counting, queue management, heatmap, vehicle counting and crowd counting all run on-board. Retail sites can pull operational data directly from the camera without an external analytics server or licence.
Q.06

Does the dual SD slot mean I can have redundant storage?

Yes. The two slots can be configured as continuous plus event (one card holds always-on footage, the second captures only detected events for faster review), or as active plus hot spare (both mirroring content). Useful when network drops make edge recording the primary storage rather than the fallback.
Q.07

Is this camera outdoor rated?

No. IP52 covers indoor dust and vertical drip protection only. For outdoor perimeter use, choose a camera with a higher weatherproof rating and appropriate temperature range. This unit is designed for indoor commercial, retail and enterprise environments.
