§ 01Overview

What the PNO-A7082R is

The Hanwha PNO-A7082R is a 4MP AI outdoor bullet camera built on the Wisenet 9 SoC with a dual NPU architecture — image enhancement and AI analytics run on separate processors, keeping extremeWDR and object classification both smooth at 60fps.

A 4.6mm to 9.35mm motorized varifocal lens covers 105° wide to 47° tight, and F1.3 fast optics hold colour capture down to 0.03 Lux and clean monochrome to 0.003 Lux.

WiseIR reaches 60m — twice the range of prior generations, giving usable plate-and-face identification at range in blackout conditions.

On-camera AI classifies Person, Face, Vehicle and License plate with attribute extraction and BestShot, alongside advanced analytics: slip-and-fall detection, face-mask detection, social-distancing monitoring.

Business intelligence includes people counting, queue management, heatmap, vehicle counting and crowd counting.

IP66, IP67, IK10 plus NEMA 4X and NEMA TS 2-2013 traffic surveillance rating — cleared for road, highway and municipal monitoring deployments.

PoE+ (802.3at Class 4) or 12VDC input.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the PNO-A7082R

60m WiseIR — Real Difference at Range

Prior-generation A bullets reached about half this range. 60m WiseIR means a full-length carpark perimeter or a long yard can be identified end-to-end in complete darkness without external lighting. That's not marketing; that's the reason certain long-run installs become viable.

Wisenet 9 Dual NPU Keeps AI at 60fps

On single-NPU cameras, running AI analytics and extremeWDR simultaneously starves one or the other under scene complexity. The dual NPU keeps image enhancement and object classification on separate silicon, so both run smoothly even at 60fps 4MP.

F1.3 Fast Optics for Genuine Low-Light Colour

The F1.3 aperture is unusually fast for an outdoor bullet — it holds colour capture down to 0.03 Lux, meaning colour identification of clothing, vehicle paint and license plate colour at scene levels where slower lenses have already switched to monochrome IR mode.

Traffic-Rated for Municipal Projects

The NEMA TS 2-2013 traffic surveillance rating unlocks municipal, road authority and highway camera procurement. Most outdoor bullets don't carry this specific certification, so the PNO-A7082R clears procurement gates other cameras can't.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Highway Interchanges & Roadside Cameras

NEMA TS 2-2013 rating meets road authority requirements; 60m WiseIR covers full carriageway width after dark; license plate classification runs natively for lane-based enforcement or investigation.

Aged-Care & Hospital Perimeters

Slip-and-fall detection combined with 60m IR covers external walkway monitoring after dark — practical for duty-of-care compliance in aged care facilities where fall events on external paths must be responded to.

Warehouse Perimeter Long-Runs

Full-length warehouse boundary walls where prior-gen 30m IR left gaps — 60m WiseIR closes those gaps end-to-end while vehicle-type classification filters loading movements from intrusion events.

Construction Site Overnight Monitoring

Dark-site perimeters at construction and demolition sites need long-range IR plus tamper detection; F1.3 optics catch colour detail from ambient site lighting while WiseIR fills the dark zones.

Retail External Frontage

Bullet cameras above the shopfront awning cover the kerb, entrance and window display in 4MP with face and license plate classification supporting incident review workflows.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the PNO-A7082R

Q.01

How much better is 60m WiseIR compared to the previous generation?

Hanwha explicitly notes this bullet generation delivers more than twice the IR performance of earlier models. For long-run perimeter deployments — full-length warehouse walls, road-facing runs, extended carpark rows — that's the difference between usable identification at the far end and a black frame.
Q.02

What does the Wisenet 9 dual NPU architecture change in practice?

Wisenet 9 contains two AI processors: one for image enhancement (extremeWDR, WiseNR II, gain control) and one for analytics (object detection, classification, safety analytics). On single-NPU cameras those tasks share silicon; here they run in parallel without competing for compute.
Q.03

What are the safety analytics for?

Slip-and-fall detection alerts when a person's motion matches a fall — useful for aged care and hospital perimeter walkways. Face-mask detection and social-distancing monitoring extend the camera's role into compliance monitoring for regulated environments.
Q.04

What object classes does the AI recognise?

Person, Face, Vehicle and License plate — with attribute extraction (colour, direction, size) and BestShot event capture. Virtual line and virtual area rules can be scoped per class, so alerts only fire on the target objects.
Q.05

What's the practical value of the F1.3 aperture?

F1.3 is fast for an outdoor bullet lens. It admits substantially more light than a standard F1.6 or F1.8, holding colour capture (0.03 Lux) at ambient light levels where slower lenses have already switched to monochrome IR — colour identification of vehicles, clothing and licence plates at low light.
Q.06

Is this camera cleared for road / traffic surveillance projects?

Yes. It carries NEMA TS 2-2013 traffic surveillance certification alongside standard IP66/IP67/IK10 and NEMA 4X ratings. Most outdoor bullets don't carry the specific NEMA TS 2 certification required for road authority procurement.
Q.07

What VMS platforms does it integrate with?

ONVIF Profile S, G, T and M — the camera drops into any ONVIF-compatible VMS. Native Wisenet WAVE and SSM integration is fullest; SUNAPI (HTTP API) documented for custom code.
