What the DH-IPC-HDW3867EM-S-IL-ANZ is

This Dahua 6-camera kit uses the same 8MP (4K) HDW3867EM-S-IL Smart Dual Light turret as the smaller kits, but with six cameras on the 8-channel DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-AI NVR and a pre-fitted 4TB drive.

It is the natural choice for a larger home or a small business where four cameras leave gaps and you want full coverage of the front, rear, sides and a driveway or yard.

Smart Dual Light keeps the cameras discreet on infrared when nothing is happening, then switches to warm white light for full-colour footage to about 30 metres the moment motion is detected.

That gives you colour detail of who is there without running white light all night.

SMD 4.0 deep-learning AI classifies people and vehicles and filters out animals, rain and foliage, so six cameras do not mean six times the nuisance alerts.

With six of the eight PoE ports used, there are two spare to add more cameras later on a single cable each.

Each camera has a built-in microphone for audio context, the IP67 metal housings cope with Australian weather, and the system is managed in the DMSS app.

Choose 2.8mm or 4mm lenses and white or black housings in your order note.

Each camera runs on a single Cat5e/6 cable to a PoE port on the NVR (up to about 100m), so no separate camera power supplies are needed.

App setup

In Australia a network camera is usually fitted by a licensed security installer or a competent IT/cabling technician who runs the Cat5e/6 cable, terminates the RJ45, mounts the unit and adds it to the NVR or app. Run the NVR start-up wizard, set a strong password and Australian time zone, then add it in the DMSS app by scanning the QR code.
