Installation Requirements
1. Power: PoE (IEEE 802.3af, max 12.5 W) or 12V DC. 2. Cable: Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet, max 100 m. 3. Mounting: Wall or ceiling bracket. Camera weighs 1.42 kg — use a junction box (CB130 or CBS) on hollow walls. Ensure the two lenses are level with the horizon for correct stitching. 4. Orientation: Mount the camera so the lens pair faces the area you want covered. The panoramic seam runs down the centre.
App Setup
1. Download Hik-Connect app (iOS or Android). Create an account. 2. Power the camera via PoE. Wait about 90 seconds for boot. 3. Scan the QR code on the camera or add by serial number. 4. Set up Live Guard rules and notification preferences in the app.

Does it need a special NVR?
