The Hikvision DS-PDPC12PF-EG2-WB is a wireless PIRCAM detector for the AX PRO alarm system: a passive-infrared motion sensor with a built-in ColorVu camera that captures full-colour images, day or night, the moment an alarm is triggered.

Those images are pushed to your phone (or a monitoring centre) through the Hik-Connect app, so you can see what set the alarm off instead of acting on a blind motion alert.

Detection: 12 m over an 85.9 degree field, with pet immunity up to 30 kg.

Verification: full-colour JPEG images (up to 640 x 480) via a white-light fill — not continuous video.

It is an indoor, battery-powered (3 x CR123A, up to 6 years) two-way wireless detector and must be paired with a Hikvision AX PRO hub to operate.

Setup Requirements

1. Hub: a Hikvision AX PRO control panel — enrol the detector through the Hik-Connect app (hold it near the panel during pairing). 2. No wiring: it is battery powered (3 x CR123A), so no mains or data cable is needed. 3. Mounting: indoor wall at a height of 1.8 to 2.4 m; keep the detection path clear of heat sources and pet-climbable furniture. 4. Brackets (optional): use the DS-PDB-IN wall or ceiling bracket to angle the detector into the room.

How far can it be from the hub?
It uses encrypted two-way wireless to the AX PRO panel, with a free-space range up to 800 m that is much shorter through walls. Enrol it through the app (power-up, Remote ID or QR code), and add a wireless repeater to extend coverage in larger homes.
