Description

The Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW3867R-ZAS-IL-ANZ-BLK is the black housing version of Dahua's 8MP Smart Dual Light vari-focal dome for the Australia and New Zealand market. Its motorised 2.7 to 13.5 mm lens lets an installer set the field of view after the dome is mounted, and the built-in IR and warm light illuminators each reach up to 50 m. WizSense analytics classify people and vehicles for tripwire and intrusion rules, and the metal IP67, IK10 housing suits exposed or public locations where a dark finish is wanted.

What the DH-IPC-HDBW3867R-ZAS-IL-ANZ-BLK is

Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW3867R-ZAS-IL-ANZ-BLK. This dome records 3840 x 2160 video from a 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor at up to 25 or 30 frames per second, with an F1.4 lens and 120 dB wide dynamic range for entrances and car parks with mixed lighting. The motorised 2.7 to 13.5 mm lens gives an identification distance of 8.5 m at the wide end and 28 m at the tele end, so one model covers both a broad approach and a tighter view of a gate or doorway.

Smart Dual Light keeps the IR illuminator on at night and switches to the warm light when the camera detects a target, recording the event in colour before returning to IR when the target leaves. Tripwire and intrusion rules classify human and vehicle targets, SMD 4.0 filters motion events, and AcuPick supports target search on compatible Dahua back-end devices.

The camera has a built-in microphone plus one RCA audio input, one RCA audio output, one alarm input and one alarm output, and takes a microSD card up to 512 GB. It runs on 12 VDC or 802.3af PoE with maximum consumption of 9.2 W on DC or 11.3 W on PoE, is rated IP67 and IK10, and operates from -30 °C to +60 °C.

Does the warm light stay on all night, or only when someone is detected?
In the Smart Dual Light operation described in the datasheet, IR is used at night. When a target enters the monitored area, the visible light switches on for colour recording, then turns off as the target leaves and IR resumes. This describes smart operation rather than a promise about factory settings on every unit.
Q.02

Can I connect an external speaker, microphone or alarm device to this dome?
The datasheet lists a built-in microphone, one RCA audio input and one RCA audio output, plus one wet-contact alarm input and one wet-contact alarm output rated 300 mA at 12 VDC. Confirm the electrical and audio interface requirements of the external device before choosing it; these ports do not establish compatibility with every speaker, siren or door contact.
