§ 01Overview

What the BOSMW350 is

The Bosch MW350 is an empty metal enclosure made to house a Bosch Solution 6000 or 144 alarm system. It is the cabinet the control board, expansion modules, power supply and backup battery live in, giving a clean and secure finish in place of an exposed PCB.

It is built from steel with a powder-coated finish for a durable, corrosion-resistant surface, and at 385 x 260 x 90mm (W x H x D) it has the room a Solution 6000 needs for its board, added modules and a backup battery. There is a provision for a tamper switch so the panel is alerted if the cabinet is opened; some variants ship with the switch fitted, others provide the mounting point only.

The MW350 is wall mounted and intended for indoor use. It is supplied with a removable lid and mounting fixings. It is fitted by a licensed installer, who allows clearance for cable entry and the battery and wires the tamper switch into the panel programming. For the smaller Solution 880, 2000 and 3000 panels, the matching enclosure is the MW250.
