The Bosch MW250 is a compact empty metal enclosure made to house a Bosch Solution 880, 2000 or 3000 alarm panel. It is the cabinet the control board, power supply and backup battery sit in, keeping the wiring and electronics tidy and secure rather than leaving an exposed PCB.

It is built from steel with a powder-coated finish for a durable, corrosion-resistant surface, and at 260 x 260 x 70mm (W x H x D) it is a neat fit for the smaller Solution panels while still leaving room for a backup battery. Unlike the larger enclosure, the MW250 includes a tamper switch and mounting bracket as standard, so the panel can be alerted if the cabinet is opened.

The MW250 is wall mounted and intended for indoor use, and is supplied with a removable lid and mounting screws. It is fitted by a licensed installer, who allows clearance for cable entry and the battery and wires the tamper switch into the panel programming. For the larger Solution 6000 or 144, the matching enclosure is the MW350.
