§ 01Overview

What the IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 is

The Uniview IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 gives one camera a 180° view. Two 2.8 mm F1.0 lenses are spliced into a single 8MP (4096*1860) frame with a 65° vertical field, so a camera on the corner of a house sees both walls and one above a shop door sees the footpath in both directions, without the wedge in the middle that two ordinary cameras leave uncovered.

At night it is a ColorHunter. The 1/2.5" sensor and F1.0 lenses hold colour down to 0.0005 lux, and the dual light gives a choice of 850 nm infrared to 30 m for a discreet black and white picture or warm light to 30 m for colour, each under auto or manual control. 130 dB WDR keeps a face readable in a doorway with the afternoon sun behind it.

Tri-Guard is what makes it more than a wide camera. Smart Intrusion Prevention draws cross line, intrusion, enter area and leave area zones and classifies what trips them as human, non-motor vehicle or vehicle, and when a real target crosses a line the camera can flash its red and blue warning light and sound its built-in speaker. Two built-in microphones and two-way audio let someone speak through it from the app, and it counts people and monitors crowd density for a shop door.

It is not a zoom camera. The 180° view is fixed, and its identification distance is 6.3m, so it belongs close to the path people actually walk rather than at the far end of a long driveway. It does have an alarm input and output and an audio input and output for a gate contact or an external device.

The metal body is sealed to IP67, vandal rated to IK10, works from -30 °C to 60 °C and carries 4 KV surge protection. Power is PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or DC 12V±25% at Max 12.6W, and the camera comes with a 60 Months warranty in Australia.

What the IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

8MP Ultra HD

8MP (4K) resolution captures four times the detail of 1080p.
Even when a person or car is far down the driveway, you can zoom in and still recognise a face or read a number plate — detail that lower-resolution cameras lose.

Full Color Night Vision

Unlike plain black-and-white night vision, this camera can capture colour after dark — so you can pick out the actual colour of a car, a jacket or a bag, detail that grey infrared footage loses.

Dual-Light Night Vision

Combines infrared with a warm spotlight so it can light a scene in colour at night rather than relying on black-and-white alone — clearer, more useful footage when there's something to see.

30m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared lets the camera see in complete darkness up to around 30m — enough for a typical driveway, front yard or entrance. People and vehicles stay clear in black-and-white, brighter the closer they are.

Human/Vehicle Detection

Smart detection focuses on people and vehicles and can ignore things like swaying branches, rain or small animals — helping cut down false alerts and making the right moments easier to find.

False Alarm Reduction

Filtering helps separate real activity from harmless movement like rain, leaves or pets, so you get fewer pointless notifications and the alerts that matter stand out.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

Two-Way Audio

Talk and listen in real time through the app — tell a courier where to leave a parcel, or speak to someone at the gate, whether you're home or away.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0

One camera covers 180° from a single bracket

The Uniview IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 splices two lenses into one 180° frame, so a corner mount sees both walls and a door mount sees the footpath in both directions. One bracket, one cable and one channel cover a wall that would otherwise need a camera at each end.

It warns people off instead of only recording them

When Smart Intrusion Prevention sees a person or a vehicle cross a line, the camera can flash its red and blue warning light and sound its built-in speaker. Someone at the door after hours knows they have been seen before they touch anything.

Colour at night, or discreet

ColorHunter holds colour down to 0.0005 lux, and the dual light adds 850 nm infrared or warm light to 30 m, each under auto or manual control. Pick a lit colour picture or an unlit black and white one for the same camera.

Alerts that mean something

Smart Intrusion Prevention classifies what trips a zone as human, non-motor vehicle or vehicle and filters the rest. The recorder hears about a person at the gate, not about a moving branch.

Faces survive a bright background

130 dB WDR handles the shot that defeats cheaper cameras: a person in a doorway with the sun behind them. The face stays readable instead of turning into a silhouette.

Built for the front of a shop

A metal body with IK10 vandal resistance and IP67 sealing, rated for -30 °C to 60 °C with 4 KV surge protection. It is made for the street side of the building.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Shop entrance in an Australian retail strip

The Uniview IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 mounts above the door where its 180° view takes in the footpath in both directions. People counting tallies who came in, and the warning light and speaker can challenge anyone at the door after hours.

Corner of a house

On the corner one camera sees the front and the side at once, the classic spot where two ordinary cameras leave a wedge nobody covers. Identification is 6.3m, so keep it near the path people actually walk rather than high on the gable.

Yard or compound gate

Draw an intrusion zone across the gate and let Smart Intrusion Prevention tell a person from a passing car. The red and blue light and the speaker announce the camera before anyone reaches the fence, and the alarm output can trigger an external device.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

Mounting accessories

Brackets for the Uniview IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 are sold separately and are not included in the box: the TR-JB03-H-IN junction box takes the cable from behind this metal turret, the TR-WM03-B-IN wall bracket, the TR-SE24-IN and TR-SE24-A-IN pendant poles, the TR-CM24-IN ceiling bracket and the TR-UP06-IN pole bracket are the listed options.

02

One cable per camera

Run one Cat5e or Cat6 cable from the recorder or PoE switch to each camera and keep a single run under 100 m; beyond that a switch is needed part way. Keep the tail junction inside a waterproof junction box, a pole chamber or conduit, never exposed, and never mount the junction box horizontally where water can pool.

03

Power

PoE (IEEE 802.3af) carries power and video on the one cable, or use a DC 12V±25% supply where power already exists. The camera draws Max 12.6W, so check the port budget of the recorder or switch it will hang off.

04

Recorder, drive and monitor

Put the recorder somewhere ventilated near the router and fit a hard drive before recording. Connect a monitor for the first setup, then add the camera to a PoE port on a Uniview recorder or to the recorder over the network.

05

App, deterrence and network setup

Connect the camera or its recorder to the router in the same network segment, enable EZCloud in the device interface, then scan the QR code in EZView under Devices, Add, Scan and allow a short time for the cloud connection. The warning light and sound are enabled under the trigger actions of cross line, intrusion or human detection, and can be switched on or off in EZView under Device Config.

06

When to call an electrician

A PoE camera on an existing recorder is not electrical work. Use a licensed electrician for a new power point or mains-connected equipment, and a registered cabler wherever local cabling rules require one.

§ 08Questions

Frequently asked about the IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0

Q.01

Does the Uniview IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 record in colour at night?

Yes. The Uniview IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 is a ColorHunter model that holds colour down to 0.0005 lux, and its warm light lights the scene to 30 m in colour where that is not enough. It can also switch to 850 nm infrared to 30 m for a black and white picture.
Q.02

How wide is the view really?

180° horizontal and 65° vertical, from two 2.8 mm lenses spliced into one 8MP (4096*1860) frame. The picture is a wide rectangle rather than a fisheye circle.
Q.03

Does the wide view mean it sees further?

No. Detection is 63.1m and identification is 6.3m, so it trades reach for width. Mount it close to the path or doorway it is meant to cover.
Q.04

What does the warning light do?

When a person or vehicle trips a cross line, intrusion or human detection zone, the camera can flash its red and blue light and play a sound through its speaker. The light and sound are set under that function's trigger actions and can be switched on or off in EZView under Device Config.
Q.05

Can I talk to someone through the camera?

Yes. It has two built-in microphones, a built-in speaker and two-way audio, so a single tap on the two-way audio icon in EZView live view talks to the camera. An audio input and output are also there for external hardware.
Q.06

How is it powered?

By PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over the network cable or by a DC 12V±25% supply. Power consumption is Max 12.6W, so allow for that on the PoE port.
Q.07

Will it work with a third-party recorder?

Yes, through ONVIF Profile S, G and T or RTSP, as long as the recorder supports the same protocol. Add it with the camera's IP address and web login; if it connects without a picture, try H.264, turn off RTSP authentication or turn off U-code.
Q.08

Can it record without a recorder?

Yes, to a Micro SD card up to 512 GB inside the camera. With ANR it also caches recordings on the card during a network dropout and transfers them once the connection returns.
Q.09

What is the warranty, and is it built for outdoors?

The camera carries a 60 Months warranty in Australia. Its metal body is IP67 sealed and IK10 vandal rated, works from -30 °C to 60 °C and has 4 KV surge protection; keep the cable junction inside a waterproof box or conduit rather than exposed.

§ 10Bundles

Recommended packages

01

Pair it with a Uniview PoE NVR

The Uniview IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 is powered and recorded by a PoE NVR without a separate switch. Choose channels and PoE budget for the cameras planned now and later, allowing Max 12.6W for this one.

02

Add a Micro SD card

A Micro SD card up to 512 GB lets the camera record on its own and, with ANR, bridges a dropout between camera and recorder. It is the simplest way to keep footage when the network fails.

03

Add the bracket for the position

The TR-JB03-H-IN junction box takes the cable from behind the turret where it cannot go straight through the wall, the TR-WM03-B-IN bracket puts it on a wall, and the TR-SE24-IN pendant pole or TR-UP06-IN pole bracket hangs it from a ceiling or fixes it to a pole.
