01Overview

What the TL-DS110GMP is

Use the DS110GMP for a plug-and-play network where Omada SDN central management is not required.

Front-panel modes provide port priority, isolation and PoE Auto Recovery.

Extend Mode applies to ports 1–4 and can reach up to 250 m, but reduces those ports to 10 Mbps; achievable distance depends on cable quality and the powered device.

Size the combined PoE load within the shared 123 W budget rather than assuming eight simultaneous 30 W loads.

08Questions

Frequently asked about the TL-DS110GMP

Q.01

Can the Omada controller manage this switch?

No. The DS110GMP is an unmanaged switch, and TP-Link explicitly states that it does not support Omada SDN central management. Its Priority, Extend, Isolation and PoE Auto Recovery functions use the switch's hardware mode controls.
Q.02

Does Extend Mode keep Gigabit speed over 250 metres?

No. Extend Mode reduces the affected ports to 10 Mbps. It applies to ports 1–4 and supports distances up to 250 m, with actual reach depending on cable quality, cable type and the connected PoE device's power consumption.
