Installation Requirements
1. Power Source: PoE switch or NVR with 802.3af standard providing power and data through single Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable within 100 metres 2. Mounting Surface: Solid brick, concrete or timber substrate minimum 50mm thickness, with 20mm conduit for exposed outdoor cable runs and silicone sealing 3. Network Access: Static IP assignment or DHCP reservation with minimum 2 Mbps upload speed per camera for remote 4MP viewing via NBN connection 4. Environmental Position: Mount 2.5 to 3 metres height with 15 to 30 degree downward tilt, avoiding direct afternoon sun and maintaining 0.5 metre clearance for infrared spread
App Setup
1. Download HiLookVision app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store and create account using Australian mobile number or email verification 2. Add camera by scanning QR code on device label or manually entering serial number with six-digit verification code printed below label 3. Configure main stream to 2560×1440 resolution at 25fps, enable built-in microphone audio recording and set motion detection zones excluding foliage areas 4. Access advanced settings via web browser at camera IP address to configure static network addressing and HiLookVision cloud P2P for remote viewing
