01Overview

What the HL-DVR-204U-M1 is

Four BNC inputs support existing analogue camera installations, with H.265 Pro+ compression and audio over coax on compatible cameras. Recording supports 5MP at 12 fps and 4MP at 15 fps; 8MP recording at 8 fps is available on channel 1 only, as specified in the manufacturer datasheet. HDMI and VGA outputs support simultaneous viewing at up to 1080p.

The standard IP mode provides two additional IP inputs, or up to six IP inputs when analogue channels are replaced. Enhanced IP mode provides four additional IP inputs, or up to eight total IP inputs when analogue channels are replaced, each up to 4 Mbps. These are alternative channel configurations; enhanced IP mode can limit Motion Detection 2.0 functions. One SATA bay accepts a compatible hard drive up to 10TB. No HDD is included, so storage must be added for local recording.
