01Overview

What the DS-KAD7060EY is

Hikvision DS-KAD7060EY distributes power and network signals over two-wire cabling in a compatible HD intercom system. Its station channels and cascade connections support a structured building layout.

Use CH1–CH6 for the door and indoor station connections, with IN and OUT reserved for the cascade path. The interface indicators provide a local view of connection status.

The unit uses a 48VDC supply and DIN rail mounting. For a system connecting multiple buildings, its cascade arrangement can include the DS-KAD7060EY-S cascade distributor.

08Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-KAD7060EY

Q.01

Can all eight DS-KAD7060EY interfaces connect indoor stations?
CH1–CH6 are the station channels. IN and OUT have a cascade role, so the eight-interface total should not be treated as eight interchangeable station channels.
Q.02

How does it connect with the EY-S version in a larger system?
The IN/OUT arrangement supports cascading DS-KAD7060EY units or connection to DS-KAD7060EY-S for network communication between buildings. Select each unit for its role in the system topology rather than treating the two model suffixes as equivalent.
