01Overview
What the iDS-7208HUHI-M2/S is
The Hikvision iDS-7208HUHI-M2/S is designed for analogue and mixed CCTV installations. Its BNC connections accept HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI and CVBS cameras, while network inputs allow compatible IP cameras to join the system. Check each camera format and resolution before connecting existing equipment.
Choose the recording resolution and frame rate together. Full 8 MP recording is specified at 8 fps, while 5 MP recording runs at 12 fps. The recorder provides separate HDMI and VGA display connections and supports simultaneous output.
AcuSense offers human and vehicle classification through Motion Detection 2.0 or perimeter protection. These two modes cannot run at the same time; enhanced IP mode also has potential conflicts with smart events. Plan the channel configuration around the analytics you need.
Two internal SATA interfaces provide room for a recording storage plan using compatible drives. This listing does not include a hard drive. Hik-Connect support provides a remote access option after network setup.
