08Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-1600KI-B

Q.01

Does 4K decoding mean the touchscreen is 4K?

No. The built-in screen is 1280 × 800 pixels. Hikvision separately rates decoding at one 4K stream at 30 fps or four 1080p streams at 30 fps. HDMI and DVI outputs are provided for external displays; the decoding rating alone does not specify their output resolution.
Q.02

Can I use this keyboard with my Hikvision PTZ system?

The four-axis joystick supports PTZ control, and Hikvision documents use with its cameras, recorders and HikCentral platform. Confirm support for your exact devices and platform version before ordering, because a general product-family listing does not establish every firmware combination.
Q.03

What network and power connections should I plan for?

The keyboard supports a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi. Power options are 12 VDC or PoE, with consumption rated at no more than 15 W. Check the installation's power equipment against the keyboard requirements; the datasheet does not identify a specific IEEE PoE type.
