What the DS-K1107AM is
Hikvision DS-K1107AM is a slimline 13.56 MHz M1 card reader for access control doors. It reads cards at up to 50 mm and communicates with the controller over RS-485 with OSDP support or over Wiegand 26/34, selected by DIP switch.
A 32-bit processor, tamper alarm, built-in buzzer for read status and power/status indicators are included, and firmware can be upgraded online. The IP65 housing is rated -20 °C to 65 °C at 10 to 90 % humidity, and the reader draws no more than 2 W from 12 VDC.
The 115 × 44 × 22 mm body mounts to a wall with screws; Hikvision states it does not support gang-box mounting.
