The Dahua DH-HAC-HDBW2802R-Z-DP is a 4K HDCVI motorised varifocal dome that lets you upgrade to 8MP detail while reusing existing coaxial cabling. Built on a 1/2-inch sensor with Dahua ISP, Starlight low-light imaging and 120dB true WDR, it delivers clear 4K footage in difficult lighting, with a motorised 3.7-11mm lens for remote framing and Smart IR to 30m.

As an HDCVI camera it transmits video, audio, data and power over a single coaxial cable and records to an HDCVI or penta-brid DVR rather than a network NVR, so it suits sites with existing coax that need higher resolution without rewiring. Installation & setup

  1. Pair with an HDCVI or penta-brid DVR

    Record to a DVR that supports HDCVI or CVI input; a penta-brid DVR handling CVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS also works. Confirm it accepts 4K HDCVI for full resolution.

  2. Reuse or run coaxial cable

    Connect over coaxial cable, reusing existing runs where present within the supported 4K cable length, with separate power as the install requires.

  3. Power with AC 24V or 12V DC

    Provide an AC 24V or 12V DC supply within the camera's voltage tolerance; HDCVI does not use PoE, so plan power separately from the video coax.

  4. Mount and set the lens

    Mount on wall or ceiling with a Dahua junction box such as the PFA130-E where needed, then set the motorised zoom and focus remotely for the scene.
