The Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW3867R-ZAS-IL-ANZ is an 8 MP (4K) Smart Dual-Light dome with a motorised 2.7-13.5 mm varifocal lens. Its dual illumination switches between warm light for full-colour night footage and infrared for discreet coverage, both reaching up to 50 m. It adds SMD 4.0 human and vehicle classification, a built-in microphone and a tough IP67, IK10 housing.

What the DH-IPC-HDBW3867R-ZAS-IL-ANZ is

The Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW3867R-ZAS-IL-ANZ is an 8 MP 4K dome that brings together a motorised lens and Smart Dual Light night vision.

The 2.7-13.5 mm varifocal lens lets you set the field of view remotely, from a wide overview to a tight long-range shot, and the 3840 x 2160 sensor captures the detail to read faces and plates across a large area.

Smart Dual Light is the standout feature at night.

When the camera detects a target it turns on a warm-light illuminator to record full-colour footage of the event, then switches back to infrared when the scene is clear to stay discreet and reduce light pollution.

Both illuminators reach up to 50 m.

SMD 4.0 classifies human and vehicle targets to cut false alarms, 120 dB WDR handles bright backlight, and a built-in microphone records audio.

This -ZAS model also has audio and alarm input and output terminals.

Two honest notes: it has a built-in microphone but no built-in speaker, so it records audio rather than offering two-way talk on its own; you can wire an external speaker to the audio output if needed.

And while it records full colour at night when the warm light is on, that light activates on detection rather than staying on permanently.

The housing is IP67 and IK10.

Power it from PoE or 12 VDC and record it to a Dahua WizSense NVR.

What's in the box

One DH-IPC-HDBW3867R-ZAS-IL-ANZ 8MP Smart Dual-Light dome camera with mounting template and fixings. The microSD card, power supply or PoE source and any NVR are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it on a wall, eave or ceiling over the area to cover and power it from a PoE switch or NVR or a 12 VDC supply. Connect the network, set the motorised zoom and focus, the Smart Dual Light night behaviour and the SMD perimeter rules in the software, and add it to a Dahua NVR for recording and event search.
