01Overview

What the KIT-HDBW3867E-2CAM-NVR4104-NOHDD is

Two separate viewpoints without starting with a large camera system. This kit combines 2 white IPC-HDBW3867E-AS-IL-ANZ 8MP dome cameras with one DHI-NVR4104HS-P-AI/ANZ 4-channel PoE recorder. It suits an entrance and a side approach, a warehouse doorway and a stock area, or two indoor access points. The supplied cameras use 2.8 mm fixed lenses; a hard drive and network cabling are not included.

Each camera supports 8MP video at 3840 × 2160, a built-in microphone, SMD 4.0 and human/vehicle classification for tripwire and intrusion rules. Its 2.8 mm F1.4 lens provides a 110° horizontal view. The metal dome housing is rated IP67 and IK10, making it useful for reachable camera positions as well as indoor warehouse coverage.

Smart Dual Light normally uses infrared for black-and-white viewing at night and can switch on warm light for a detected target, recording that event in colour. Both illuminators are rated up to 30 m. This is an illumination specification rather than a guaranteed recognition distance; lighting, mounting angle and target size still determine usable detail.

One Ethernet run from each camera to a recorder PoE port carries power and video. The camera maximum PoE rating is 8.2 W each, so the supplied set totals 16.4 W before cable losses. 2 recorder channels and 2 physical PoE ports remain unused in the base configuration. Additional cameras must fit the recorder bandwidth, power budget and supported camera settings. No HDD is included. A compatible 2TB surveillance SATA drive is available as an optional add-on in the hard-drive selector. It remains unselected by default; choose capacity for your bitrate, schedule and required retention.

Outdoor entrances and side access

IP67-rated cameras can be installed outdoors. Avoid aiming into direct sunlight or strong lamps, keep nearby reflective surfaces out of the IR path and weatherproof exposed connections.

Reachable camera positions

Q.01

Is a hard drive included?
No. The base kit contains two cameras and one NVR, without a hard drive. No HDD remains the default. You can choose the optional 2TB surveillance drive in the hard-drive selector; it is an additional purchase. Initialise the drive and set the recording schedule after installation.

How many cameras can I add later?

Q.03

Will these cameras record in colour throughout the night?
Smart Dual Light can use infrared for normal night viewing and switch on warm light for a detected person or vehicle, recording that event in colour. It does not guarantee colour in every dark scene without visible illumination. Configure the lighting mode and test the result on site.
Q.04

What is the difference between Quick Pick and AcuPick?
Quick Pick helps select relevant human/vehicle targets from recorded SMD events. AcuPick uses a selected target for appearance-based searching across compatible recordings and requires compatible cameras, recorder and firmware. This kit includes the four-channel NVR4104 configuration; full AcuPick search is not promised for that supplied recorder. For two cameras, ordinary event playback and Quick Pick may meet everyday review needs.

Can I use these domes outside or in a warehouse?
Yes. The cameras are IP67-rated and their metal dome housings are IK10-rated. They can suit indoor warehouse entrances and stock areas as well as outdoor approaches. Dust, fingerprints and water marks on the dome can scatter light and cause glare. Avoid direct strong light and nearby reflective surfaces, clean the covers and check night images. Keep the NVR indoors and weatherproof exposed camera connections.
