HiLook IPC-T383H-MU Pro 8MP Acusense Turret IP Camera with Mic Colour Night

SKU: IPC-T383H-MU
Description

The HiLook IPC-T383H-MU is a Pro-series 8MP (4K) fixed turret camera for everyday outdoor and indoor monitoring where you want sharp detail and accurate alerts. AcuSense deep-learning classification picks out people and vehicles and filters away the moving trees, rain and shadows that trigger nuisance notifications. Smart Hybrid Light keeps recordings clear after dark — infrared for a discreet view, or white light to hold full colour on a detected event — and a built-in microphone adds audio to your footage. A 120 dB true WDR sensor copes with backlit doorways, and the whole camera runs over one PoE cable behind an IP67 housing. It comes in a 2.8 mm or 4 mm lens and white or black.

§ 01Overview

What the IPC-T383H-MU is

The HiLook IPC-T383H-MU is a Pro-series 8MP fixed turret camera that pairs genuine 4K detail with smart, low-noise alerts.

At 3840 × 2160 it captures the clarity you need to identify people and vehicles around a home, shop or commercial site, and AcuSense deep-learning classification means the camera tells the difference between a person or car and the swaying branches, rain and shadows that set off ordinary motion alerts.

That keeps your notifications and recorded events focused on what actually matters.

After dark it uses Smart Hybrid Light.

By default it runs discreet 850 nm infrared to about 30 metres for clean black-and-white footage, and on a detected event it can switch on its white LEDs to capture the scene in full colour — handy when you want to see clothing or vehicle colour at the moment something happens.

A 120 dB true WDR sensor balances bright and dark areas in the same frame, so a backlit doorway or a driveway against a sunset stays usable, and a built-in microphone records audio alongside the video for extra context.

It is an easy camera to install and live with: one PoE cable carries power and data, the turret housing aims neatly under an eave or on a ceiling, and H.265+ compression stretches storage on a HiLook NVR or a microSD card of up to 512 GB.

The IP67 metal housing handles Australian weather, and it comes with a 2.8 mm wide lens (about 119° horizontal) or a 4 mm option for a tighter, longer view, in white or black.

Note it has a built-in microphone but no speaker, so it records audio rather than offering two-way talk.

It is genuine stock with a local 3-year warranty and support.

What the IPC-T383H-MU features actually look like

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

8MP Ultra HD

8MP (4K) resolution captures four times the detail of 1080p.
Even when a person or car is far down the driveway, you can zoom in and still recognise a face or read a number plate — detail that lower-resolution cameras lose.

30m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared lets the camera see in complete darkness up to around 30m — enough for a typical driveway, front yard or entrance. People and vehicles stay clear in black-and-white, brighter the closer they are.

Full Color Night Vision

Unlike plain black-and-white night vision, this camera can capture colour after dark — so you can pick out the actual colour of a car, a jacket or a bag, detail that grey infrared footage loses.

Human/Vehicle Detection

Smart detection focuses on people and vehicles and can ignore things like swaying branches, rain or small animals — helping cut down false alerts and making the right moments easier to find.

IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the IPC-T383H-MU

4K detail that holds up

8MP resolution captures faces, clothing and vehicle detail clearly and lets you zoom into recorded footage.

Alerts that mean something

AcuSense classifies people and vehicles and ignores animals, branches and shadows, so notifications stay relevant.

Useful night footage

Smart Hybrid Light gives a discreet infrared view by default and switches to full colour on an event.

Simple, tidy install

One PoE cable and a neat turret housing make it quick to fit under an eave or on a ceiling.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Home entrances and driveways

A wide 2.8 mm view covers a door, carport or driveway with accurate people and vehicle alerts.

Shops and offices

Clear 4K footage of entries, tills and service areas, with audio recording for added context.

Backyards and perimeters

AcuSense keeps alerts to genuine intruders rather than pets or moving foliage along a fence line.

Multi-camera systems

An easy, consistent turret to standardise on across a HiLook NVR install of several cameras.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What's in the box

One IPC-T383H-MU turret camera with mounting accessories and a quick start guide. A HiLook NVR, PoE switch or power supply, network cable and any microSD card are supplied separately. Optional brackets include the DS-1273ZJ-140 wall mount.

02

Installation requirements

Fit it to a wall or ceiling aimed across the area, run one network cable to a HiLook PoE NVR or switch, and activate it on the NVR or in the app. Set the lens to suit the scene, choose the night-light behaviour and AcuSense rules, and test the view before relying on it.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the IPC-T383H-MU

Q.01

What is AcuSense on the IPC-T383H-MU?

AcuSense is HiLook's deep-learning detection that classifies moving objects as people or vehicles and filters out everything else, such as animals, foliage and shadows. It means your alerts and recorded events focus on humans and cars, which cuts down on nuisance notifications and makes searching footage faster.
Q.02

Does it have two-way audio?

No. The T383H-MU has a built-in microphone that records audio alongside the video, but it does not have a built-in speaker, so it does not offer two-way talk. If you need to speak through the camera, look at an all-in-one model such as the IPC-T289 series.
Q.03

How does it see at night?

It uses Smart Hybrid Light. By default it runs 850 nm infrared to about 30 metres for a discreet black-and-white image, and on a detected event it can switch on white light to capture the scene in full colour. You choose the behaviour in the settings.
Q.04

What lens options does it come in?

It is available with a 2.8 mm lens for a wide view of about 119° horizontal, which suits most entrances, driveways and yards, or a 4 mm lens for a tighter, longer reach. It also comes in white or black to match the building.
Q.05

How is it powered and mounted?

It runs over a single PoE cable that carries both power and data, so it connects straight to a HiLook PoE NVR or a PoE switch. The turret housing mounts on a wall or ceiling and aims easily into the corner of an area.
Q.06

Will it work with my existing NVR?

It works best on a HiLook NVR for the full feature set, and it supports ONVIF, so it can be added to many third-party recorders and software that support ONVIF. For AcuSense smart search and event management, a HiLook recorder is recommended.
Q.07

How much storage does it support, and does it need a hard drive?

It takes a microSD card up to 512 GB for on-board recording, useful as edge storage or a backup. For continuous multi-camera recording, pair it with a HiLook NVR and a surveillance-grade hard drive sized to your retention.
Q.08

Is it weatherproof for outdoor use?

Yes. It carries an IP67-rated metal housing and a wide operating temperature range, so it stands up to rain, dust, heat and sun in Australian conditions. It is genuine stock with a local 3-year warranty and support.

§ 09Bundles

Recommended packages

02

Add a surveillance hard drive

HiLook NVRs ship without a drive — add a surveillance-grade 2TB hard drive or 6TB hard drive to record continuously.

04

Compare the range

Want active deterrence and two-way audio? Look at the IPC-T289H-MU, or full-time colour with the IPC-T581H-MU.
