What does Hi-Color mean?

Hi-Color is HiLook's name for 24/7 full-colour imaging using warm white LED lighting. It uses ColorVu technology from Hikvision. There is no IR on this camera — it stays in colour at all times.

Q.02

Does it have a speaker for two-way talk?

No. It has dual built-in microphones for audio recording but no speaker. For two-way talk, look at the T289PH-MU/SL or T269H series.

Will it work with Hikvision NVRs?

Yes. Fully compatible with Hikvision and HiLook NVRs and most ONVIF recorders.

What happens in total darkness?

The warm white LED provides its own light. The camera does not need external lighting. However, the white LED is visible — it glows like a small floodlight.
