Installation Requirements
1. Network Cabling: Solid copper Cat5e or Cat6 cable (maximum 100 metres) with UV-resistant jacketing for exposed outdoor runs not protected by conduit 2. Power Source: IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or injector with minimum 15.4W per port capacity, though camera draws only 6.8W maximum power 3. Mounting Location: 2.5-3 metre height on flat surface (walls, soffits, eaves) with three-axis adjustment after mounting, avoiding direct sun exposure during peak hours 4. App Setup
1. Download Hik-Connect app from iOS App Store or Google Play Store and create free account using email address for remote viewing access 2.
