What the DS-2CD2T67G2H-LISU/SL is

The Hikvision DS-2CD2T67G2H-LISU/SL is a 6MP ColorVu bullet camera with Smart Hybrid Light, made for properties that want colour night footage without flooding the area with white light all night.

By default it uses infrared for low-key monitoring, then automatically switches on its warm white light when AI detects a person or vehicle, capturing clothing colour, vehicle colour and faces in full colour up to 60 metres.

You can also lock it to IR-only, white-light-only or smart auto in the web interface.

An F1.0 ColorVu lens and 130dB true WDR pull in light and hold detail in high-contrast scenes such as a backlit doorway or a driveway lit by headlights.

Deep-learning human and vehicle detection keeps alerts to real targets, and the LiveGuard strobe light and audio alarm can be linked to intrusion or line-crossing events for active deterrence.

Two-way audio through dual microphones and a built-in speaker lets you listen in and respond, and you can schedule or disable the light and siren so they do not disturb neighbours.

The camera records 6MP through a 2.8mm or 4mm lens (note your choice in the order comments), takes a microSD card up to 512GB for on-board recording, and is IP67-rated with an anti-corrosion housing.

It runs over PoE+ or 12V DC and works with Hikvision AcuSense NVRs and the Hik-Connect app.

It is normally installed by a security or cabling technician.

What it is

Setup

In Australia a network camera is usually fitted by a licensed security installer or a competent IT/cabling technician, who runs the Cat5e/6 cable, terminates the RJ45, mounts the camera and adds it to the NVR or app. Add it in Hik-Connect or your NVR, then set human/vehicle zones and link the strobe and audio to intrusion or line-crossing events.

Frequently asked about the DS-2CD2T67G2H-LISU/SL

Does the white light stay on all night or only on motion?

By default Smart Hybrid Light uses IR and only switches on the white light when a person or vehicle is detected. You can change this to IR-only, white-only or smart auto under Configuration, Image, Supplement Light Settings.

Does it record in full colour at night?

Yes. When the white light activates it captures full-colour footage to about 60 metres, which is why it sees clothing and vehicle colour that an IR-only camera renders in black and white.

Q.03

Does it have two-way audio?

Yes. It has dual microphones and a built-in speaker, so you can listen in and speak back through the Hik-Connect app or a compatible NVR.

Q.04

Will the strobe and siren disturb my neighbours?

Only if you link them to events. They fire on detections such as line-crossing or intrusion that you configure, and you can schedule active hours or disable them entirely and just record.

Q.05

Does it run on PoE or do I need a power supply?

It supports PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) over a single Ethernet cable, so a PoE switch or NVR port handles power and data. It also accepts 12V DC via the coaxial plug.

Which lens should I choose, 2.8mm or 4mm?

The 2.8mm gives a wider view for entries and tight spaces, and the 4mm reaches further for driveways or longer areas where you need to identify faces or plates. Note your choice at checkout.

Can I store footage without an NVR?

Yes. It takes a microSD card up to 512GB for on-board recording, and you can still view live and recorded footage remotely through Hik-Connect.
