The Dahua DH-SD6AL830V-HNI is a 4K laser PTZ built for wide-area monitoring across large properties, industrial yards, ports and open perimeters.
An 8MP 1/1.7-inch STARVIS sensor with a 6-180mm 30x optical zoom captures usable detail at long range, and a 360 degree endless pan with a -20 to 90 degree tilt and auto flip gives operators full spatial control to track movement in any direction.
A laser Smart IR illuminator reaches up to 500m, adjusting intensity with the zoom level to avoid overexposing close subjects while maintaining reach when zoomed out, well beyond the range of standard infrared.
Auto tracking and IVS tripwire and intrusion support automated monitoring, a wiper clears the lens in rain, and the camera operates from -40C to +70C in an IP67 housing.
It powers from Hi-PoE or AC24V, so plan power accordingly, and takes a microSD card up to 128GB for edge recording.

Plan the power supply
This PTZ needs Hi-PoE or AC24V. A standard NVR or switch PoE port will not power it, so specify a Hi-PoE injector or switch, or an AC24V supply, sized for the 38W draw with the illuminator on.
Mount for clear sightlines
Fix the camera to a pole, parapet or bracket with a clear, elevated view of the area, allowing the 360 degree pan and tilt range to cover the intended scene.
Set tracking and presets
