Installation & setup

Plan the fixed-lens position

This is the fixed 2.8mm version, so set the mounting position and height for the area before mounting, as the lens cannot be zoomed later.

Power over PoE or 12V DC

Run a single PoE (802.3af) cable from a switch or NVR, or provide a 12V DC supply where PoE is not available.

Mount on wall, eave or ceiling

Fix the turret to a wall, eave or ceiling, using a Dahua junction box such as the PFA137 where surface cabling or extra clearance is needed.

Pair a WizSense NVR

For full SMD Plus and perimeter protection, connect the camera to a Dahua WizSense AI NVR and set the human and vehicle rules.
