Bosch CP736B Graphic Keypad for Bosch 6000
The Bosch CP736B is a 3.5-inch colour graphic keypad for the Solution 6000 alarm panel. Its high-resolution screen shows system status and full-text prompts at a glance, while a built-in 40-bit MiFare smart-card reader lets users arm or disarm by presenting a card or token instead of typing a PIN. Colour-coded illuminated keys, red/green armed indicators and a built-in sounder make day-to-day operation clear, and dedicated lock and egress terminals add simple access control. § 01Overview
What the CP736B is
The Bosch CP736B is the 3.5-inch colour graphic keypad for the Solution 6000 system. The high-resolution screen uses variable font sizes and colours to show all system conditions clearly, and because every programmable feature is shown in full text, an installer can configure many options at the keypad without reaching for a manual. A customisable banner across the top can show a site name, company name or contact number.
It is built around everyday use. Colour-coded, illuminated soft-touch rubber keys are easy to read in any light, red and green indicators identify armed and disarmed areas at a glance, and a blue indicator shows door status when the access features are in use. A built-in sounder gives audible feedback and a local alarm tone, with the volume individually programmable per keypad. The integrated 40-bit MiFare smart-card reader lets users present a card or token to arm or disarm, and dedicated lock and egress terminals make it easy to add a simple door-control point.
The CP736B connects over Bosch's proprietary RS485 keypad LAN and is supported on Solution 6000 and Solution 6000-IP panels (as well as Vision-X / Vision-XIP). It runs on +12VDC (about 110 mA, LAN-powered) and is finished in a discreet white housing measuring 149 x 88 x 21.5 mm. It is genuine Bosch stock with local 3-year warranty and support.

§ 04Why choose this
Built for the way you actually use the CP736B
Card or PIN
A built-in 40-bit MiFare reader lets people arm or disarm with a token, so nobody has to remember a code.
Access control built in
Lock and egress terminals turn the keypad into a simple door-control point as well as an alarm keypad.
Programs without the manual
Because every option is shown in full text, installers can configure much of the system right at the keypad.
§ 05Where it fits
Right at home in these scenarios
Home entry point
Mount it by the front door of a Solution 6000 home so the family can arm and disarm by PIN or card.
Small business front desk
Use the card reader and clear status display for staff arming, disarming and door access at a shopfront or office.
Multi-area sites
Show armed and disarmed status per area, with a customised banner to label the site.
Door-controlled area
Pair the lock and egress terminals with a strike to control a single door alongside the alarm.
§ 06Setup
Installation & setup
What's in the box
One CP736B graphic keypad, a manual and a mounting back plate. The Solution 6000 panel, cabling and any access-control hardware are not included.
Installation requirements
A licensed installer mounts the keypad, wires it to the panel's RS485 keypad LAN, then addresses and programs it. Power is +12VDC (about 110 mA, LAN-powered). For access control, connect the lock and egress terminals to the door hardware and program the card users. Set the sounder volume and screen brightness to suit the location.
