    § 01Overview

    What the DS-2CC52D9T-IT3E is

The Hikvision DS-2CC52D9T-IT3E is an ultra-low-light Turbo HD turret for analog CCTV systems where night performance matters.

Its sensor and processing capture clear, usable colour images down to 0.003 Lux, far better than a standard analog camera, so it keeps detail under faint street or security lighting before the infrared even comes on.

When it does get dark, EXIR 2.0 infrared lights the scene up to 40 m, and 120 dB true WDR with 3D DNR keeps the picture balanced and clean against glare and noise.

Its standout convenience is Power over Coax.

With a PoC-capable DVR, a single coaxial cable carries both the HD video and the camera's power, so there is no separate power run to each camera - a real time-saver on a multi-camera upgrade or a long cable route.

It also runs on a conventional 12 VDC supply if you prefer.

A fixed 2.8 mm lens gives a wide view, with 3.6 mm and 6 mm options for longer reach.

Two notes for a clean install.

This is an analog Turbo HD camera, so it connects over coax to a DVR, not over the network to an NVR; to use PoC, the DVR must support it.

The turret has no microphone or speaker, and the housing is IP67 against dust and heavy rain, so it suits eaves, entrances and walls outdoors.

Representative illustrations of how each key feature performs in a real scene.

    40m IR Night Vision

Built-in infrared sees in total darkness up to around 40m, reaching further across a larger yard or laneway. Subjects appear in clear black-and-white, sharper and brighter as they get closer.

    IP67 Weatherproof

Sealed against dust and water to IP67, built to keep working through rain, storms and harsh sun — suitable for fully outdoor mounting.

    § 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-2CC52D9T-IT3E

    See in very low light

Ultra-low-light imaging down to 0.003 Lux holds colour detail where ordinary analog cameras fail.

    One cable per camera

Power over Coax carries video and power together, cutting the cabling on a multi-camera upgrade.

    Strong night reach

EXIR 2.0 infrared up to 40 m lights driveways and yards evenly in total darkness.

    Keep your cabling

It upgrades an analog site to clean HD over the existing coax and DVR.

    § 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

    Low-light analog sites

Add reliable night performance to a yard, driveway or laneway on an existing analog system.

    Multi-camera upgrades

Use Power over Coax to cut the power cabling across a larger analog install.

    Homes and small business

Cover an entrance or perimeter with a tough, easy-to-aim HD turret.

    Eaves and entrances

Mount under cover where the EXIR infrared and low-light sensor handle the dark.

    § 06Setup

    Installation & setup

    01

    What's in the box

One DS-2CC52D9T-IT3E 2MP Turbo HD turret camera with mounting hardware and documentation. The DVR, coaxial cabling, any 12 VDC power supply and junction box are supplied separately.

    02

    Installation requirements

Mount it on a wall, eave or ceiling over the area to cover and run coaxial cable to a Turbo HD DVR. For single-cable power, use a PoC-capable DVR; otherwise provide a 12 VDC supply. Aim and focus the fixed lens for the view you want, and set the camera output to match your DVR.

    § 07Questions

    Frequently asked about the DS-2CC52D9T-IT3E

    Q.01

What is Power over Coax on the DS-2CC52D9T-IT3E?

Power over Coax, or PoC, sends both the HD video and the camera's power down the same coaxial cable. With a PoC-capable DVR you do not need a separate power supply run to each camera, which saves cabling and time on a multi-camera analog system. It also runs on a normal 12 VDC supply if you prefer.
    Q.02

How good is it in low light?

It is an ultra-low-light camera that captures usable colour down to 0.003 Lux, so it holds detail under faint street or security lighting where a standard analog camera would struggle. When it is fully dark, EXIR infrared up to 40 m lights the scene and the image switches to black-and-white.
    Q.03

Does it connect to an NVR?

No. It is an analog Turbo HD camera, so it connects over coaxial cable to a DVR, not over the network to an NVR. To use the Power over Coax feature, your DVR must support PoC as well.
    Q.04

How far does the infrared reach?

EXIR 2.0 infrared reaches up to 40 m, with an even spread that avoids the hot-spot you get from older infrared. That suits driveways, yards and medium-sized open areas. The ultra-low-light sensor also extends what you can see before the infrared is needed.
    Q.05

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The metal housing is rated IP67 against dust and heavy rain, so it works on eaves, entrances and exposed walls. As a turret it is easy to aim and sits neatly under cover.
    Q.06

    Which lens should I choose?

The 2.8 mm lens gives a wide view for a general area, while the 3.6 mm and 6 mm options give a tighter, longer reach for a gate or driveway. Pick the lens to match the distance and field of view you need.
    Q.07

    Does it record sound?

No. The turret has no built-in microphone or speaker, so it captures video only. If you need audio on an analog system, use a separate microphone wired to a DVR audio input where it is permitted.

    Protect the cabling

Use a DS-1280ZJ-S junction box to conceal and weatherproof the connections behind the turret.
