§ 01Overview

What the DS-PM1-I1-WB is

The Hikvision DS-PM1-I1-WB is an AX PRO wireless single-input transmitter that lets you bring an existing wired alarm device into a wireless AX PRO system. Instead of pulling out a working wired detector, contact or switch during an upgrade, you connect it to the transmitter, which reports its signals wirelessly to the hub - preserving the cabling and hardware already in place.

It provides one alarm input and one tamper input, a programmable PGM output for driving a small indicator or triggering an automated response, and a 3.3V output to power a low-current wired sensor. Communication is over Tri-X two-way wireless on 433MHz (2GFSK), rated up to 1300m in open space with AES-128 security, and a built-in tamper reports if the housing is opened. Three CR123 batteries give up to five years of life.

Its compact body is designed to fit inside a wireless-ready detector or to sit beside the wired device or cable termination, so it tucks neatly into the install. Note this is a single-input transmitter: it handles one wired zone. If you need to retain several wired zones, use multiple transmitters or step up to an AX Hybrid Pro controller, and confirm the wired device type, zone behaviour and hub compatibility before fitting. It needs a Hikvision AX PRO hub to receive the signal.

DS-PM1-I1-WB specifications

- Converts one compatible wired detector, contact or switch into a wireless AX PRO alarm zone, so existing wired hardware can stay in use.

- Provides one alarm input, one tamper input and one programmable PGM output, plus a 3.3V output to power a low-current wired sensor.

- Tri-X two-way wireless on 433MHz (2GFSK), rated up to 1300m in open space, with AES-128 security for a stable, supervised link.

- Built-in tamper triggers an alert if the housing is opened or removed, keeping the security loop intact.

- Three CR123 batteries give up to five years of life, with a low-battery warning sent to the hub.

- Compact module fits inside a wireless-ready detector or beside the wired device for a tidy retrofit; single-input design.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-PM1-I1-WB

Reuse proven wired gear

Keep an existing wired detector or contact in service and report it wirelessly, instead of replacing it during an upgrade.

No new cable runs

Tri-X two-way wireless to 1300m means the wired device reports to the hub without pulling cable back to the panel.

Flexible inputs and output

One alarm input, one tamper input and a programmable PGM output cover most retrofit wiring needs.

Tidy, supervised retrofit

A compact body and built-in tamper make for a neat, monitored install that the panel can supervise.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Alarm system upgrades

Bring existing wired zones onto a new AX PRO wireless panel without ripping out the cabling.

Door and window contacts

Give a wired magnetic contact wireless reporting to the AX PRO hub.

Garages and sheds

Connect a wired sensor in an outbuilding where running new cable to the hub is impractical.

Retail and office retrofits

Reuse compatible wired sensors during a move to a wireless system.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

Confirm the wired device

Check the wired detector or contact's output type, zone behaviour and tamper needs, and confirm AX PRO hub compatibility.

02

Wire the input

Connect the wired device to the transmitter's alarm input and tamper, using the 3.3V output if the sensor needs power.

03

Place and pair

Fit the module inside a wireless-ready detector or beside the wired device, then enrol it to the hub by power-up, remote ID or QR code.

04

Set the zone and test

Set the zone behaviour in the Hik-Connect app, then trigger the wired device to confirm the alarm and tamper report through.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-PM1-I1-WB

Q.01

What does the DS-PM1-I1-WB do?

It converts one existing wired alarm device - such as a wired PIR, reed contact or vibration sensor - into a wireless zone on a Hikvision AX PRO system, so you can keep the wired hardware and report it wirelessly to the hub.
Q.02

How many wired inputs can it handle?

One. It is a single-input transmitter. If you need to retain several wired zones, use multiple transmitters or move up to an AX Hybrid Pro controller designed for many wired inputs.
Q.03

Which devices can I connect to it?

Compatible wired detectors, magnetic door and window contacts, switches and similar wired alarm input devices, depending on the system design and the device's output type.
Q.04

Does it need an AX PRO hub?

Yes. It reports wirelessly to a Hikvision AX PRO hub, so it works as part of an AX PRO system rather than on its own.
Q.05

How far can it be from the hub?

Up to 1300m in open space over Tri-X two-way wireless on 433MHz. Walls and obstructions reduce that, so check signal strength at the install point.
Q.06

What is the PGM output for?

It is a programmable output that can drive a small indicator or trigger an automated response within the alarm system, and it can be configured to suit the install.
Q.07

How is it powered and for how long?

Three CR123 lithium batteries give up to five years of standby life, with a low-battery warning sent to the hub.
Q.08

Where is it installed?

Its compact body fits inside a wireless-ready detector or mounts beside the wired device or cable termination point, wherever the signal to the hub is strong.

02

Lots of wired zones?

If you need many wired inputs, an AX Hybrid Pro panel such as the DS-PHA64 (or the AX Hybrid Pro kit) handles wired zones directly.
